Buddha Brush is eco-friendly company dedicated and focused on developing and distributing products that help sustain our environment.
Our mission is to provide consumers a variety of environmentally sustainable products, ideas and solutions to help reduce and slow down the plastic footprint currently in existence, while increasing awareness on the negative impact plastic debris is having on our planet, human health and wildlife.
Problem We Are Solving
Plastic debris is dangerously affecting our health, destroying our environment and killing our wildlife. We are not doing enough to slow down production or reduce the amount of plastic currently in our environment. Globally we are using more than 260 million tons of plastic each year. In fact the amount of plastics manufactured in the first decade of this century will approach the total produced in the entire last century.
Unfortunately the majority of consumers don’t know plastics don’t biodegrade and can last in our planet for hundreds of years harming our environment, wildlife and well-being. We are not living mindful of our environment. Our time to act is now, before it becomes a major epidemic.
Part of our mission is simply to help educate consumers and help reduce and slow down the increasing plastic footprint. We hope buddha brush helps you become aware of the problem and most importantly, leads you to choosing and living more eco-friendly.
Bamboo is one of the world’s fastest-growing plants, able to reach maturity in about four years. Bamboo is actually a tropical grass, with an extensive root system that sends out an average of four to six new shoots per year, naturally replenishing itself and growing to heights of 50 feet or more. Some bamboo species grow up to 4 feet per day and can be harvested every 3 to 4 years. As a result, bamboo is one of nature’s most sustainable resources since it is naturally regenerative. The many uses and benefits of bamboo continue to increase as individuals turn to organic, eco-friendly products.
It is 100% biodegradable, natural and chemical free.
It is grown without using pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
Has a higher compressive strength than wood, brick, or concrete and a tensile strength that rivals steel.
There are more than 1000 documented uses of bamboo.
